A Magnificat is a larger-than-normal felines who can think and speak like humans can. Throughout the Free State they are awe-inspiring and revered. Though there are also other magnificent and wundrous creatures throughout the Unnamed Realm, Magnificats are not considered (nor do they consider themselves) Wunimals. They are also not considered unnimals.[1] Magnificat offspring (cubs) are known as Magnificubs.[2]

Magnificats are abnormaly large felines with speech capabilities.

Magnificats in the Wintersea Republic[]

Magnificats in the Republic have their tongues cut out in infancy to make them docile and subservient.[3] This is why they are so silent and never speak in the Republic. They have also been skinned for their fur to be made into coats.[4]

Magnificats in the Free State[]

Magnificats in the Free State enjoy considerable freedom compared to their Wintersea Republic counterparts, being able to act as normal Magnificats. The status of the species is unknown but may extant in some areas of the Free State.
