Silverborn: The Mystery of Morrigan Crow is the fourth installment in the Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsend. It has not been published as Townsend is still currently in the process of writing and editing the novel. It is slated to be released October 13, 2022 in Australia at time of title announcement.[1]

Morrigan Crow is ready for a new adventure. In Silverborn: The Mystery of Morrigan Crow, we will travel to places in Nevermoor that we've never seen, we'll meet people from Morrigan's past who will be very important in untangling the mystery of who she is ... as she sides with someone very dangerous to learn more of the Wundrous Arts.[2][3]

The plot has not been revealed at this time.

Release

Silverborn is expected to be released in Australian, New Zealand, and UK markets on October 13, 2022. There is no confirmed date available for the US at this time but is expected to be around the same time as other English-speaking markets (probably October/November 2022).

Trivia

  • On a Q&A session on Instagram, Townsend revealed that more of Squall's past will be revealed[4], Hawthorne's dragonriding world will be shown[5], and the book contains many new characters[6]
  • The title is not related to Dearborn[7]
